Our Mission:

To educate the community about the dangers of secondhand smoke and the need for smoke-free air in all workplaces, including bars and restaurants.

Why:

Secondhand smoke is not a nuisance; it's a community health hazard. Every day, people in Hannibal - customers and employees - breathe secondhand smoke inside public places. Everyone has the right to breathe smoke-free indoor air.

For more information on smoke-free related issues:

U.S. Surgeon General Report

“The debate is over.  The science is clear.  Secondhand smoke is not a mere annoyance, but a serious health hazard.”
